Fall Break

Fall break is over and I am back in Greenville now but while I was home Mom was being her typical self. At one point, the night before Thanksgiving, I walked into the kitchen (there was no music playing) and she was doing some kind of booty roll, clapping her hands, and giggling at herself. I was sitting on one of the stools on the computer and we just got new knobs on our cabinets.. She comes in the kitchen gets something out of the cabinet and tries to walk away but the drawstring to her pants was caught in the knob so she took the cabinet door with her THEN forgot what she came in the kitchen to do. On Thanksgiving she was showing the entire family her dances (this time she was playing "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj).

The dancing did not end there.. The next day was of course black Friday, every store was playing Christmas music and what's Mama doing? Booty rolling up and down the aisles. If she wasn't dancing she was singing. We went to lunch at Moe's, they played Michael Jackson.. MOM LOVES MJ. She was so upset when he passed. Mema about had a stroke because Mom was singing at the table, attempting to do the moonwalk, and screeching "ow!" during "Billie Jean".

I just got off the phone with her, we were discussing what I wanted for Christmas and she was telling me how everything on my list is not in the budget (of course). We got on the subject of what I got last year and I talked about the ipod I got. She doesn't even remember giving me an ipod she is convinced Trevor gave it to me.

Now you see why I have asked her to start writing down our conversations.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am home by myself. I picked up my own dinner and ate it at Mema and Big's house. Big always asks me when I come in the door if I'd like to talk to him about my life goals, boys, etc. One day I'm really going to miss being able to sit down with them when my family ditches me like they have tonight.

Mama has gone out with some of her high school classmates to eat dinner and such, Lane is no where to be found, Dad is M.I.A. and Grayson is in Memphis, TN. The dog won't even hang out with me.

I am so excited to see my entire family tomorrow especially these THREE who are staying at my house! :)

I'm a slacker.. And I know it.

I have been incredibly busy! And I'm so sorry. This semester is coming to an end, thank the Lord. I need it to be Christmas break so I can go home and cuddle with my Ruby.

..I know I promised to put pictures of my room at school up so here are two!

The top is of the cornice board my dad made and mom stapled fabric too. And the bottom picture is a little bit of my bedding and monogram above my bed!
